“Don’t eat anything your great-great grandmother wouldn’t recognize as food. There are a great many food-like items in the supermarket your ancestors wouldn’t recognize as food.. stay away from these”  ~Michael Pollan

This is a great quote by author Michael Pollan. He wrote “The Omnivore’s Dilema” which I had the chance to read last summer. It is really eye opening and makes you think about what you are actually putting into your body compared to what you think you are. Next on my list of reading is his book “Food Rules”, Pollan also wrote, which is about how much of what we eat today is not actually food (so very true in a lot of cases).

Just remember to always be conscious about what you are eating, it can make a HUGE impact on your health.

Have a happy week!
